Best thing: The unit was just one of (3 or 4?) in the house owned by the same landlord/managed by the same property manager. The natural light to the front room was amazing which is why we took on the tenancy. But the rest of the unit was damp and dark. People who came to visit called it a 'fire-trap'. At the time we lived there, there was no heatpump and no extractor fans. The dehumidifier would fill up every day in the bedroom. It was damp and cold with rattly front windows and no insulation.

Suggested improvements: Hopefully they have fixed it, but the kitchen was definitely not up to code with the moisture from our cooking going up into the hole in the alcove left by (probably) the original oven..
